Recorded in 1899 (PubWiki transcription citing Kelly's Directory of Berkshire 1899). The Black Boys was situated at 62 Bartholomew Street. This pub closed c1931 and is now in commercial use. It gave its name to the adjacent railway bridge which is still known as Black Boys bridge.
